Berrily is designed so that your data stays with you.

What we collect

Nothing. Berrily has no account system and no servers of its own. The names, dates, photos and notes you enter are stored on your device and in your personal iCloud (via Apple’s CloudKit, in your private database), so they come back when you sign in on a new iPhone with the same Apple Account. We cannot read them. You can turn iCloud sync for Berrily off in iOS Settings.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple’s notification system. They are not sent through any third-party service.

Analytics and advertising

Berrily contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated App Store statistics (such as download counts), which cannot identify you.

Photos

If you choose a photo for a person, Berrily reads only the photo you select and stores a small copy on your device. It does not access your photo library otherwise.

Purchases

The one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited people is handled by Apple’s App Store. Berrily never sees your payment details.

Children

Berrily does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
